1. What is an Independent Living Arrangement?
An independent living arrangement is one catering to young men and women transitioning from a foster care program. It is designed to support them in achieving competency in daily living tasks so that they can reach self-sufficiency.
2. What do we provide to our clients?
We provide a comprehensive and progressive series of activities and experiences tailored to the specific needs of each individual. Activities include vocational preparedness, educational support, activities of daily living and money management. The objective is to help the participants become socially, morally, physically and cognitively competent.
3. How many clients can we serve at one time?
We have 2 facilities that house 6 residents each for a total of 12 clients at any one time. Although licensed as a co-ed facility, we are currently offering both a boy’s facility and a girl’s facility.
